OVERVIEW:

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park district energy scheme is comprised of two energy centres, a network of 18km of pipework and provides a source of low carbon heating, hot water and chilled water to buildings across the park and in the surrounding areas.

Acting as Principal Contractor to the ESCo, we have designed, installed, tested and commissioned 12 connections comprising 1.8km of pipework in 0.9km of trench. We have full responsibility of the site as Principal Contractor including liaison with all stakeholders including local businesses and residents, LLDC, TFL and the local highways authority.

Managing live traffic conditions, crossing of sensitive services.

Liaising with LLDC (Development company), local businesses and residents, TFL, LB Newham Highways department and major businesses such as Westfield.

Value engineering schemes through innovative thinking based on many years’ experience.

Delivering schemes with extremely challenging heat on dates, delivering on time and budget for our client.

Providing hot tapping solutions and specialist works and carrying out over 10 hot taps on district heating and cooling systems.

Expanding existing fibre optic network around Olympic Park by connecting new developments to existing spine.
